Join us for a fun day of doing art in the park! Free colored chalk provided to all who want to participate.
We are thrilled to announce our grand opening event, “Mandalas in the Park”, to be held in Scott Park on Lyndsey Rd. at the Locust Shelter on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 10 am – 4pm. Free colored chalk will be provided on site to kids of all ages while supplies last! The mandalas will be drawn on the sidewalks starting across from the pool at the top of the park at the Locust Shelter, and will wind down and around the outside of the pool entrance.
Other art activities will be open for business during the event, including water marbling on paper, drink coasters, die cut words, angels and other shapes. You can also water marble hats and cell phone cases (bring your own case). Additional stations for painted stone and bead jewelry projects will also be available. Artists will be on site offering face painting and a variety of other services. Snacks and refreshments will be available.
