Learn the art of Alcohol Inks on Elegant Glass Vases/Carafes!
Alcohol ink has a gorgeous vividness of color and layers that is second to none. Learn basic techniques for layer inks by dropping color on a crystal clear beautiful glass carafe vase and moving it around. You can mask off any areas that you don’t want to paint prior to painting. Once that is done, you will tilt the vase as you pour the paint across each section, layering it on for richer colors and beautiful effects. The inks appear different on different surfaces.
We have a multitude of vibrant alcohol ink colors to work with, and plenty of straws should you want to try this method. Our work stations are set up to allow you to interact with the art in the safest possible ways.
Select from a variety of papers, either to frame or use in other paper crafts such as scrap booking.
Artistic skills not required. An art apron, gloves and all other supplies are included to create a beautiful work of art. As always, wear your favorite clothing to paint in! Until further notice, all participants must wear masks for the duration of the class for the protection of each other. Disposable masks will be available on site for $5 each.
No paint brushes will be used or harmed during this process. No straight lines will be drawn. 🙂
